1. Who we are
BetPayout.co.za is an independent South African information and comparison tool for betting payout limits and payout caps. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”). We do not accept bets, host any form of gambling, hold customer funds or take deposits.
2. What we collect
You can use every calculator and guide on this site without giving us any personal information. We do not operate contact forms, accounts, logins or newsletters, and we never ask you for your ID number, bank details or income.
- Calculator inputs (stake, odds, selections) are processed in your browser only. They are not transmitted to us and not stored on our servers.
- Analytics data — pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, referring site, and interactions such as clicking an advert.
- Server logs — standard web-server records including IP address, timestamp and requested URL, kept for security and troubleshooting.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them does not affect any calculator on this site.
4. Advertising disclosure
This site carries paid advertising and affiliate links, which is how it is funded.
- Adverts on this site are marked “Ad” and links are
tagged
rel="sponsored". - Credit adverts are supplied through the OfferForge affiliate network on behalf of Century Financial Services (previously Lime24), a South African registered credit provider offering loans from R500 to R8,000 over 1–6 months.
- We earn a commission if you click through and are subsequently granted a loan. That commission does not change what you pay, and it never influences our payout figures, rankings or comparisons.
- We are not a credit provider, a bank, a financial services provider or a debt counsellor. We give no credit, financial or investment advice and we do not assess your affordability. All lending decisions, terms, interest rates and fees are the lender’s, and are subject to their affordability assessment under the National Credit Act, 34 of 2005.
- Bookmaker links, where present, are also affiliate links.
5. When you click an advert
Clicking an advert takes you to the advertiser’s own website, at which point their privacy policy and terms apply, not ours. We pass no personal information to advertisers — we have none to pass. The advertiser and OfferForge may record that the click originated from BetPayout.co.za, together with a reference identifying which advert you clicked, in order to attribute any resulting commission. Any information you then choose to give the advertiser, including consent to a credit check, is given directly to them.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. Data is processed on our behalf by our hosting provider (server logs) and by Google (analytics). Some of these operators process information outside South Africa; where that happens it is done under the transfer safeguards in section 72 of POPIA. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the security and integrity of the site.
7. Retention
Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months in line with our Google Analytics configuration. Server logs are rotated and retained for up to 30 days.
8. Your rights under POPIA
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing. Because we do not collect names, email addresses or account details, we usually cannot link site data to you as an individual, which may limit what we are able to look up. Requests go to the contact details on our home page.

9. Children
This site deals with gambling-related information and is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The revision date at the top always reflects the current version.
